Since 2008 Sabine Veit has been a researcher at the University of Bremen and Managing Director of IAI. Her research interests include AI-based robotics with a strong focus on social robotics and robotic assistance for elderly and sick people. Since 2010 she has been the principal investigator in computer science projects promoting high school children and young talents. In 2014 Sabine Veit became Research Manager of the concerted activity “Cognition-Enabled Assistance” at TZI - Center for Computing and Communication Technologies at University of Bremen. Since July 2017 the research topic has been continued with the focus on transfer activities of the collaborative research centre 1320 EASE (Everyday Activity Science and Engineering) under the title “EASE Innovation”.
