Sabine Veit is the Managing Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bremen. She is the contact person for human resources, financial affairs and contractual matters at the institute. 
Since 2017, she has been the Research Manager of the concerted activity „EASE Innovation“ at TZI – Center for Computing and Communication Technologies at the University of Bremen.  
The research area summarises the transfer activities of the Collaborative Research Center 1320 EASE (Everyday Activity Science and Engineering). 
Her research interests include AI-based robotics with a strong focus on social robotics, robotic assistance for elderly and sick people, and computer science projects promoting high school children and young talents.
