His research interests include natural language processing, knowledge representation, multiagent systems, cognitive robotics, and machine learning. He received a doctoral degree from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and he also holds a habilitation from the University of Osnabrück. He was the technical coordinator of the EU-funded Integrated Project //RoboHow// until 2016. Since July 2017 he is the managing director of the Collaborative Research Center //EASE - Everyday Activity Science and Engineering// (SFB 1320, http://www.ease-crc.org). ====== Publications ====== **Books** K.-U.
