 I earned my M.Sc. degree in [[http://www.ceng.metu.edu.tr/|Computer Engineering]] from [[http://www.metu.edu.tr/|Middle East Technical University]] (METU),  where I was a member of [[http://kovan.ceng.metu.edu.tr|KOVAN Research Laboratory]], working on the European FP7 project [[http://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/85547_en.html|ROSSI]] under the supervision of [[http://kovan.ceng.metu.edu.tr/~erol|Assoc. Prof. Erol Şahin]] and [[http://robotics.ozyegin.edu.tr/members/erhan-oztop/|Assoc. Prof. Erhan Öztop]]. I wrote [[http://etd.lib.metu.edu.tr/upload/12614835/index.pdf|my master thesis]] on the cognitive development of grasp behaviour for [[http://www.icub.org/|iCub]], an open-source humanoid robotic platform. Apart from my thesis work, I also took role in several other studies such as implementing traversability affordances for mobile robots and the development of adjective and noun concepts in the context of Human-Robot-Interaction.
